Preaching the Word
“Preaching The Word” ministry’s purpose is to encourage Christians to grow in the knowledge of Christ and proclaim the Gospel of Christ to a lost world. Our challenge is the challenge Paul gave Timothy.
2Ti 4:2 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
To be effective we need to do as Ezra did!
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
Let us remember that Ezra said the proper order is known/seek understanding, do, and then teach it! As it is often said “The only Bible some may read is watching you and me, those who proclaim to be Christians.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Mat 28:19-20)
God’s (Everlasting) Covenant
The phrase “everlasting covenant” (or “perpetual covenant”) is used 16 times in the Old Testament (kjv), plus once in the New Testament. It always refers to the covenant promise of God to Noah, Abraham, Moses (Israel), David, and Christ as an “Everlasting Covenant “, as a singular (one covenant) that is progressively revealed. [Gen 9:16, Gen 17:7, Lev 24:8, 2 Sam 23:5, Hbr 13:20]. This “everlasting” covenant relationship is also implied to include the covenant with Adam (Hosea 6:7).
Hosea 6:7 But like Adam,[fn] you broke my covenant and betrayed my trust. (nlt)
Below is an “e-book” which discusses the relationship of all revelations of “God’s Covenant“ with mankind as being ONE Everlasting/Eternal Covenant.
The concept of ONE “Everlasting Covenant” is consistent with theological concepts such as Biblical Theology, Biblical Typology, and Redemptive Theology
The newer Theological concept of “Progressive Covenantalism” is similar to our thoughts on “God’s (Everlasting) Covenant”.

Bing Chat is an AI ChatBot!
Bing Chat is a chatbot that uses artificial intelligence to communicate with users and provide them with relevant information from the web. Bing Chat is powered by ChatGPT, a natural language processing model that can generate fluent and coherent texts on various topics. Bing Chat’s basic database is the information that it has learned from large amounts of text from the internet, such as books, news articles, Wikipedia entries, social media posts, and more. This database allows Bing Chat to have general knowledge and understanding of various domains and topics. However, Bing Chat’s database is not static or fixed. It can also update and expand its knowledge by using Bing Search to access the latest and most relevant information from the web, therefore BingChat answers may change as new data becomes available.
Go, Tell, Make Disciples!
Romans 1:16 is considered by many to be the theme verse in Paul’s Epistle/letter to the Romans.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek
Are we ashamed of the Gospel? Check out the blog series entitled “Jesus’ Chair” in the menu above!
Preaching The Word ministry’s desire is that all disciples will aggressively share the gospel of Christ!
Rom 10:14-15 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Is your church unhealthy?
Church health of the USA’s churches was a topic for several years before COVID! Church attendance, those physically attending church had been decreasing before the pandemic. Although church attendance had been declining for several years before COVID, COVID just accelerated it. As churches reopen for in-house services, attendance came back to about 36% of pre-pandemic levels and most churches have not yet returned to their previous levels.
Church health is the key to a local church’s survival and growth. If a local congregation is declining in numbers, it indicates that it has become unhealthy in one or more areas. Several years ago, Dyingchurch.org was initiated to raise awareness of this problem and offer resources to help their recovery. The name was chosen for several reasons, with a key one being to emphasize the critical nature of the problem.
The resources on the website Dyingchurch.org are free and could mean “life or death” for your local church. Click for Website!
